To collect, export and promote the handicraft and handloom products produced by different units scattered around the villages of 75 districts and 14 zones of the Kingdom of Nepal.
To arrange necessary training by direct or indirect means for developing our handicraft and handloom products to utility, household, gifts etc., and to Eco-Friendly products and quality upgradation for export market.
To provide assistance to village/cottage units by flow of information and by use of personnel for product development, designing, quality upgradation etc..
To preserve and develop the existing marketing of handicraft and handloom products.
To assist the export promotion of products from existing village units and to develop respectively the other village units also for producing handicraft and handloom products in other districts.
To assist export promotion of products from different village units and centres conducting income generation programme for destitute, physically handicapped, poor and underprivileged people by providing them skill development training in various crafts.
To support the development of units in different districts by conducting skill development training in various handicraft and handloom products to the destitute, physically handicapped and women from poor economic background.
To develop trade with alternative trade organizations for products from units supporting to handicapped and the people from poor economic background.
To work jointly with Child Workers in Nepal (CWIN), the social welfare organization for child workers.
To bring up the craft producers under one umbrella by providing them the better working conditions, payment and other basic facilities.
